Saxifrage, a Sassifras Cousin: Maligned as Roman Roadbreaker

Also said to have been used by the Romans for the treatment of kidney stones. Saxifrage, low plant (related to but not same as sassafras tree)(sale overall laurel family) ; but that apparently has been debunked. Not a rock breaker after all. It just likes the rock crevices, but did not make the crevice itself.
